INTRODUCTION

Ibrahim Emuron Yusuf (also known as Ibrhur) was born on February 22nd 1985. Ibrhur is a rapper, song writer and a performing artist. He has one album under his belt known as Ujasiri (Turkland’s wisdom). 

Ibrhur was raised by his mum a single parent leading to his childhood life being tough. But due to his good academic ability he managed to make it through high school to college through the help of God as he puts it in his song Jikaze Feat Mc Sharon ” kusoma kimungu mungu kwingine tena bahati/kusoma kwangu si haki ni huruma na bahati”.

Ibrhur was inspired by his homeboy Akidah who was the first in the history of Turkana people to ever record a hip hop track called “Twaangamia”, Kalamashaka, Professor Jay from Tanzania and Tupac, T.I and The Game from America contributed more to his lyrical creativity.

Ujasiri is a Swahili word meaning “the ability to do something better than the rest”  “Bravery”

That is the title of the album and bracketed is the word “Turkland’s wisdom” which stands for Turkana land’s wisdom.

The album has been recorded and mastered in G-hood records and some tracks are done in E.W.D records and FM2 studios. Guest artists in the album are; Sonie, Mc Sharon, Akidah, Gilloh, Slo, Jay tee, T-broze, Cate and Dan.
